Join Me For Authenticity Office Hours on Tonight to Discuss *COMPARISON AND COMMUNITY*
Tonight on Zoom from 5 - 6 PM PST / 8 - 9 EST
Hi everyone!
Here are this week’s prompts for Authenticity Office Hours; a space where we can come together and have open conversations centered around cultivating authenticity.
Join me tonight 9/24 on Zoom, at 5 PM PST / 8 PM EST for an hour-long chat, and subscribe to get a reminder before we dive in!
Whether it’s an intimate group discussion, a big conversation, or a 1:1 conversation with you and me - I always walk away from these conversations with a strengthened sense of community, many lingering questions, and more often than not, a new perspective.
This week is all about Authenticity, Comparison, and Community.
Here are the prompts:
What role does community play in shaping the standards or values you compare yourself to?
Do you think it’s possible to build a community devoid of comparison?
Is comparison ever healthy, or necessary, within certain kinds of communities?
How does comparing yourself to others affect how you show up in your communities?
When do you feel most likely to compare yourself to others? Least likely?
Have you ever compared your definition of authenticity to someone else’s?
If you can’t make it tonight, you’ll have more opportunities to join next month!
Subscribe to receive the Wild Cozy Free Roundup at the start of each month, where I’ll share the topics of the months + dates of discussions. The next one coming up in just a week. Also - how is it October?!
Also, if you can’t make it but have thoughts on these prompts (or even if you plan to join but already have thoughts simmering) share them in the comments! Can’t wait to hear what you’re thinking!
PS - Have you checked out my new substack, A New Yorker Goes West? Would love to see you over there!
