Wild Cozy Free is a step towards more embodiment. A step towards discovering and reclaiming my wild cozy free self. The self that exists underneath all my roles, outside all of the busyness.

Wondering exactly what that means? Start here.

I currently publish one personal essay each Wednesday, along with additional paid essays throughout the month.

I also have an ongoing series called What Authenticity Means To… where I talk to people I admire about what authenticity means to them. If you’re interested in being part of it, just reach out! Always excited to chat :)

About Me

I’ve written several full length and one act plays about mental health, the grey area of the #metoo movement, and reproductive justice, plus three one acts on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and racial injustice. Recent publications include Smith and Kraus’ The Best Women’s Monologues of 2022 and Resistance is Fertile, a chapbook benefitting reproductive health. My work has been performed at theaters across the Northeast and Midwest.

Before all that, I was an actor, fourth grade teacher, associate producer/outreach coordinator, temp receptionist, tutor, and many other things.

Before all that, I was just a kid who loved playing make believe with her dolls more than anything. Who preferred her imagination to the outside world.

At the heart of it all, I’m a storyteller and dreamer. I’m curious about the business of being human; our wild, full hearts, and all of the complicated, beautiful emotions that they hold.

For a deeper dive into who I am, and what’s important to me, read this or check out my website!

Wild Cozy Free is a dedicated place to honor the messy fullness of who we are. In a world constantly demanding too much of us, this is a space where you can just be.

People

Author. Life Coach. Human Being. I write about the things I used to never dream of sharing. I help people who "have it all together" but know something's missing, figure out what that 'something' is.
